Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use COMPÁS. By creating an account you agree to them. We've kept them as short and readable as we can.

The short version. Use COMPÁS for your own accounts or accounts you're authorised to manage. Don't break the platforms' rules through us. Your data stays yours. We'll do our best to keep the service running, but we're a small team and we can't promise perfection.

1. Who we are

COMPÁS is operated by SOLCOMPÁS LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean SOLCOMPÁS LLC, and "you" means the person or organisation using the service.

2. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old to use COMPÁS.
You're responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping access to your email secure — we sign you in with a link sent there.
Give us accurate information, and keep it current.
Don't share your account with people who shouldn't have access to your data.

3. Connecting platform accounts

COMPÁS reads data from platforms you connect. When you connect one, you confirm that:

You own the account, or you're authorised by its owner to access its analytics.
You'll stop using COMPÁS with any account you're no longer authorised to manage.

Each platform has its own terms, and your use of COMPÁS doesn't change them. If a platform changes what data it makes available, or withdraws access, features may change or stop working. We'll tell you when that happens, but we can't control it.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use COMPÁS to:

Access data belonging to someone who hasn't authorised you
Break the terms of any connected platform
Resell, redistribute, or scrape data obtained through the service
Attempt to breach, overload, or reverse engineer the service
Do anything unlawful

We may suspend or close accounts that do these things.

5. Your data stays yours

You keep all rights to the data you connect or upload. You give us permission to store and process it only in order to provide the service to you — nothing else. You can export it or delete it at any time. See our Privacy Policy for the detail.

6. Our software stays ours

The COMPÁS software, design, name, and content belong to us. Using the service doesn't transfer any of that to you.

7. Payment

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance through Stripe.
You can cancel at any time. Your plan runs until the end of the period you've paid for.
We don't offer partial refunds for unused time, but if something goes genuinely wrong on our side, email us and we'll sort it out.
If we change our prices, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email. Changes never apply to a period you've already paid for.

8. Beta and early access

Parts of COMPÁS may be labelled beta or early access. Those parts may change, break, or be withdrawn. We'll be clear about what's still in progress.

9. What we promise, and what we don't

We work hard to keep COMPÁS accurate and available, but we provide it "as is." Specifically:

We can't guarantee uninterrupted service.
Data comes from third-party platforms, and we can't guarantee it's complete or accurate. Where our numbers differ from a platform's own dashboard, treat the platform as the source of truth.
Nothing in COMPÁS is professional, financial, or career advice. Decisions you make based on it are yours.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to COMPÁS is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost revenue, lost opportunities, or lost data.

11. Ending your account

You can close your account at any time from your settings, or by emailing us. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or if we stop offering the service. If we close the service, we'll give you reasonable notice and time to export your data.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we'll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use COMPÁS after that means you accept the new terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of that state, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
